ANTHONY JONES

Born in London, UK in 1962, I have moved up and down the east side of England and now live in London.

As a child I collected various things, including postcards, many with photographs of Victorian buildings and street scenes. Those cards had a profound effect on the kind of work I now produce.

I am very drawn to the city, the idea of being private, anonymous; the feeling of living ones life unaffected by others and yet being part of a 'circle'.

ART PHOTOGRAPHS
Most of the black and white photographs on this website for are for sale, the silver gelatin bromide (fibre based) prints are produced in editions of either 45 or 6, they measure 12" x 16" or 20" x 24" and are signed, numbered and titled on the reserve.

The price starts at £300 and increases as the edition sells. Keep checking the exhibition page or contact Anthony directly and add your name to his mailing list.

ARTISTS TALKS
Anthony is available to deliver talks to small groups of students about his working practice and motivation.

These can be booked for the day or by the hour and his fee includes travel and accommodation if required.
