Bringing fresh and thought provoking photography to the foreground,this Mayfair show offers expressive new work from Anthony Jones,Catherine Jacobs and Irene Lumley and Ray Spence.

Curved horizons, evocative shapes and vibrant textures celebrate the emotive issues of femininity, sensuality and sexuality that are central to Catherine Jacobs' work. Her intimacy series was selected for Food 99, the 10th Herefordshire Photography Festival. Other recent exhibitions include Artsway, the.gallery@oxo, Manuela Hofer Original Photographic Prints Gallery and the Battersea Contemporary Art Fair. Sense & Sensuality, an exhibition with painter Annabel Kapp, showed at Lewisham Art House Gallery, London and toured Shropshire Galleries with Gallery. Net 2000-1, who recently commissioned a residency based on her photographic practice.

Anthony Jones hand printed silver gelatin photographs display a humanistic and sympathetic viewpoint in this series of his work have been included in Image 99, SE1 Gallery, Association of Photographers Gallery, In Sync Gallery and the Novotel, Hammersmith. He has shown at the Paperleaf Art Fair, Battersea Contemporary Art Fair and the Kensington Art and Design Fair.

Irene Lumley's work explores the sculptural and textural qualities of the female nude. She chooses to photograph women who go largely unrepresented in western media in a positive and empowering way. Irene has exhibited widely and recent shows include Photofolio Gallery, Manuela Hofer Gallery and Battersea Contemporary Arts Fair. She also works collaboratively and has just finished a residency in association with the National Gallery touring programme exploring children's photographic responses to contemporary family life. She is currently working towards her second solo show, to be housed at The Pankhurst Centre Manchester, and is also completing an MA in Communication Media at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Trained as a microbiologist Ray Spence is a keen organic gardener whose work is greatly in influenced by natural forms. Plants, organic structures and the human form are all recurring themes. For many years Ray has specialisted in Fine Art monochrome printing and historical processes such as cyanotypes and platinum/Palladium printing. More recently he has worked with liquid emulsions and digital manipulation and printing. This new digital based work that explores the relationship between couples combining the human form with text will be shown at this exhibition. A Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, Ray sits on the Distinctions panels in 'Visuals Arts' and Printing' as well as being a respected lecturer and workshop leader. Spence is the author of Form and Fantasy and the co-author of Beyond Monochrome - A Fine Art Printing Workshop. His work is widely exhibited and collected. Ray Spence makes his home near Stratford on Avon,UK.
